Introduction
Women in Logistics and Transport abbreviated as (WiLAT). The NPC was launched in June 2013, it is membership-based and promotes the supply chain, logistics and transport industry to female members, and encourages and supports career development and entrepreneurship spirit. WiLAT has over 3200 members in 40 countries.
Empowering women in the transport and logistics sector is not merely an issue of equity but a strategic initiative to foster innovation, enhance productivity, and mitigate the expanding talent deficit in the business.
By implementing inclusive policies, ensuring access to education and leadership opportunities, and cultivating safe workplaces, the sector can fully leverage the potential of women, resulting in a more varied, resilient, and prosperous enterprise
